Where Ticker and Dash started

At first I just wanted to wear my own brand so I could wear a logo I believed looked pretty cool. Something that would stand out.

I’m from the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and I’ve always been into streetwear, skate, BMX and surf culture. I liked the designs, but I never felt like anything out there really felt like me, so I started making my own.

Ticker and Dash came from sketching ideas, messing around late at night, and trying to capture how things move.

The city, time, energy, and the pauses in between. The Ticker is the heart, the Dash is the perseverance.

It’s influenced by street culture mixed with synthwave and vaporwave, late nights, neon signs, liminal spaces and that twilight feeling. I didn’t start this to follow trends or play the game. I just wanted to make something I’d actually wear. Hopefully other people like it too.

This is only the beginning.
